Recalls over gun rights wrap up today in Colorado A gun-rights organization says today’s recall election of two state senators proves many Coloradans are angry about restrictive anti-gun legislation passed by the state legislature. Colorado Senate president John Morse and Senator Angela Giron – both representing districts in the southern part of the state – are facing recall elections Tuesday because they voted for tougher gun-control legislation limiting the size of ammunition magazines and requiring universal background checks.
