Czech Republic Parliament Passes Constitutional Right to Bear Arms

by Chris Tomlinson  Czech lawmakers have passed legislation in the lower parliament that would see the right to bear firearms enshrined in the country’s constitution in a move directed against tighter regulations from the European Union. The legislation was passed with 139 deputies agreeing to the amendment to the constitution with only nine deputies voting against. The amendment will now be considered by the Czech Senate where it will require a supermajority of three-fifths of the members in order to pass into law, Die Pressereports. Similar to the U.S. second amendment to the Constitution, which gives Americans the right to keep and bear arms,… View Article

MORON ALERT: HuffPost Writer Says People Should Be Compelled To Care About Others

By: Elliott Hamilton Since President Trump won the election, the Republican Party has tried, often times to no avail, to steer the United States away from the legacy of Barack Obama and the Democrats. Whether it is health care, taxes, or the Supreme Court’s membership, the Left has responded with either unparalleled derangement or profound disbelief that the country did not vote in favor of the Democrats’ message or lack thereof. As a result, the marketplace of ideas has given us a greater insight into the perverse minds of mainstream liberal thought. HuffPost, for example, published a piece on Monday...

San Francisco To Pay $190,000 To Illegal Alien — For Trying To Have Him Deported!

By: Joseph Curl This is another one of those stories that you just aren’t going to believe is true, to which we say: It happened in California, where anything — no matter how inexplicable, no matter how dumb — can, and often does, happen. Here it is in a nutshell first, then fleshed out. A native of El Salvador sneaks into America. He cruises up to San Francisco, figures he’s safe, it being a “sanctuary city,” where municipal officials refuse to help the federal government deport illegals. His car is stolen, he goes to a police station, someone there notifies the...

Canada’s top court rules Google must block some results worldwide

By Leah Schnurr Canadian courts can force internet search leader Google to remove results worldwide, the country’s top court ruled on Wednesday, drawing criticism from civil liberties groups arguing such a move sets a precedent for censorship on the internet. In its 7-2 decision, Canada’s Supreme Court found that a court in the country can grant an injunction preventing conduct anywhere in the world when it is necessary to ensure the injunction’s effectiveness. “The internet has no borders – its natural habitat is global,” the Supreme Court wrote in its judgment. “The only way to ensure that the interlocutory...

The BBC thinks pedophilia is just another “sexual orientation” akin to being gay or transgender

by: Ethan Huff The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) is playing with fire by allowing an anonymous author to publish articles on its platform that aim to minimize the utter depravity of pedophilia. Similar to what the far left publication Salon tried to do several years back (along with The New York Times), the BBC seems to agree with this author that pedophilia isn’t necessarily a disorder to be treated with disdain, but rather a sexual orientation like homosexuality that simply requires “help.” It wouldn’t be the first time that the BBC has entered the ring on the wrong side...
