SHOT Show Range Day

SHOT Show Range Day SHOT Show is here! Today I was blessed enough to visit the early range day. Here are a few finds. Kimber K6 Revolver Kimber has introduced their first revolver – the K6 in .357 Magnum.  It was plenty accurate and had an acceptable double action trigger.  I was fond of the cylinder catch. Sightless Kimber .380 This little .380 at the Kimber booth has a groove instead of a set of sights.  I surprised myself by repeatedly hitting headshots.  They might be onto something for small carry guns. SeeAll Sight Gen 2 I covered the first… View Article

Politicians’ Class-Privilege: Armed Security

By Jon Rappoport A winding circus tour through the ever-popular gun issue. Logic, polemic, non-sequiturs, popcorn, and burning-ass syndrome. If you can’t have guns, you can have mind control. Who is the ‘we’ in ‘we have to stop killing each other’ “After a shooting spree, they always want to take the guns away from the people who didn’t do it. I sure as hell wouldn’t want to live in a society where the only people allowed guns are the police and the military.” (William Burroughs, Grand Street no. 37, 1992) Let me state, for the record, that I’m not in… View Article

The Insane New Push for Gun Control: Sue the Manufacturers

By Joshua Krause There’s nothing inherently wrong with being uncomfortable around firearms, and not wanting to own them. There also isn’t anything wrong with trusting the police to protect you as opposed to protecting yourself with a gun, if that’s your personal choice. But the moment the anti-gun crowd tries to argue that everyone else should be disarmed as well, it becomes impossible to ignore how warped their thoughts really are. It’s almost as if they don’t understand the basics of cause and effect. They have no grasp on the realities of human behavior, both good and bad. When someone… View Article

Christians booted from ‘safe playground,’ Supremes step in

The subject of a lawsuit that started in Missouri and now is pending before the U.S. Supreme Court is scrap tires used for playgrounds. It’s safer than gravel, and there are fewer injuries. But the case is over a decision by the state of Missouri to exclude one particular preschool and day-care center from the state…

In War Games, Navy SEALs Normalize Treating U.S. Citizens as Enemy

United States Navy SEALs planned war games in the state of Washington for mid-January, where they would encroach upon residential areas, state parks, national parks, etc, without the consent of the public. The war games treat citizens as pawns because SEALs were trained to react to citizens as potential terrorists. One of the most alarming aspects of the war games, which were reported on by Truthout journalist Dahr Jamail, is how it normalizes the idea that U.S. citizens can be enemies. The war games suggest a future where many more military exercises run roughshod over public spaces and soldiers simulate… View Article

Killing Coal: The Obama Administration’s Intentional Assault on an Industry

by Marita Noon19 Jan 20163 By now, most people are aware of President Obama’s 2008 campaign promise to bankrupt the coal industry—which he acknowledged would “necessarily” cause electricity to skyrocket. Seven years later, that is a campaign promise he is keeping. Since moving into the White House, Obama has used bureaucratic weapons and administrative agencies to assault America’s coal industry. Between 2008 and 2012, the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reports 50,000 coal jobs were lost—that number would certainly be much greater today. West Virginia has been hit particularly hard with unemployment rates in double digits. Addressing the job losses, the… View Article

Armed Citizens Stop Mass Murder.. January 2016

The President said taking away our guns will make us safer.  Some reporters said the same thing.  They say a good guy with a gun never stops a bad guy with a gun.  Well isn’t this a surprise.  Here are five examples of self-defense that happened within the last month.  They show people who not only stopped a criminal and saved lives, but these armed victims may have stopped mass murder! 1- Katie and Matt Klaxon were parked filling up their car at a Springfield, Missouri gas station.  Their four children were in the car as well.  Matt was pumping gas… View Article
