Taking ibuprofen to treat pain ‘for just ONE DAY increases your risk of heart attack by half’

Scientists fear the drugs may cause blood vessels to narrow, increase fluid retention and alter blood pressure By Nick McDermott They include popular over-the-counter pills such as ibuprofen, and prescription-only drugs such as diclofenac. Both are taken by millions for conditions such as headaches, back pain and arthritis. The study, published in The BMJ, said their effect on heart attack risk was almost immediate. But it was not long-lasting and wore off over time. Past studies have found the common painkillers increase risk of cardiac arrest by up to a third. Scientists fear the drugs may cause blood vessels...

Bay Area flier says United canceled his ticket after he filmed baggage dispute in New Orleans

by Alyssa Pereira A Bay Area flier named Navang Oza, who was traveling from Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport to San Francisco International Airport on May 4, says a United Airlines ticket agent canceled his flight after he began filming an altercation they were having. Oza said the agent was attempting to charge him $300 for his bag, which exceeded the 50-pound limit. Oza contends that the same bag holding the same contents only cost him $125 in his flight out of SFO to New Orleans, which caused the disagreement. Obama Uses Private Jet, 14 Car Convoy to Get to European Climate Change Speech

By Conor Swanberg   Former President Barack Obama traveled to Italy this week to make a speech on climate change at the “Seed & Chips: The Global Food Innovation Summit” in the city of Milan. It seems like Obama has taken a page out of Leonardo DiCaprio’s book of “do as I say, not as I do” and took a private jet to Milan. Not only that, he had a 14 car convoy to get into the city, which also included protection from above with a helicopter. It doesn’t end there. According to The Daily Mail, 300 police officers were used...

Racism Is Only Racism If It Comes From A Group The Left Hates

By: Ben Shapiro This week, an odd tweet appeared in my mentions from verified Twitter users — users prominent enough to be granted a blue check mark by Twitter itself. This one came courtesy of a rapper named Talib Kweli Greene. I’ll admit I’d never heard of Greene until he suddenly appeared in my mentions calling me a “racist ass.” It turns out Greene is a rapper with well over 1 million Twitter followers and a long history of “social activism.” A quick search of Greene’s Twitter feed showed a wide variety of instances of the rapper calling people “white boy”… View Article

James Comey ‘Threw the Reputation of the FBI Under the Bus,’ Says Bureau’s Former Assistant Director

by Daniel J. Flynn The former assistant director of the FBI tells Breitbart News that President Donald Trump fired bureau director James Comey for legitimate reasons. “He was fired for cause in my view,” James Kallstrom informs Breitbart News. “When the referral came to the bureau close to a year ago, Comey knew at that point, if not soon after, that the Justice Department had no interest in conducting a criminal investigation of Hillary Clinton. They would never approve a grand jury and they would never approve an indictment.”  Kallstrom faults Comey for presiding over a “sham” investigation of Clinton. From granting...

The Unconventional President: Donald Trump Shakes Washington to Its Core by Firing Comey

by Matthew Boyle President Donald Trump’s shocking decision to fire FBI director James Comey on Tuesday evening represents the latest in a political outsider’s crusade against entrenched Washington. The unusual move—a surprise to say the least—has drawn the usual critics against Trump from the media, Democratic Party and even those inside his own GOP. Regardless of the bickering back and forth between Trump and his usual District of Columbia critics over the reasoning, timing and thinking behind it, the move to fire Comey is the latest development in a true outsider’s war on Washington.  Trump campaigned on an ambitious...

The Simple Explanation for Trump Firing James Comey When He Did

by Joel B. Pollak The case for firing former FBI Director James Comey has been made at length by both Democrats and Republicans. Last July, Republicans were angry that he failed to indict Hillary Clinton, and Democrats were angry that he made a case for doing so. In October, Democrats were furious that Comey revealed that he had re-opened the investigation into Clinton, and in March, Republicans were angry that he disputed President Donald Trump’s wiretapping claims. Comey was, arguably, dealt an impossible hand by the Obama administration. Regardless, within the Department of Justice and beyond, Comey had — perhaps with good intentions...

by Jim Hoft Thanks for participating – We’ll do what the hell we want. The Austin ISD board asked the public for suggestions on renaming the “Robert E. Lee Elementary School” because Robert E.
