Darwin award? Number of stupid selfie-related deaths higher than ever

This week a Florida woman fell about 400 feet to her death while attempting to take a scenic selfie at the Grand Canyon – pushing the reported number of selfie-related deaths in 2016 to 29, the same number of selfie deaths recorded for all of 2015. In 2015 it was determined that we had more chances of being killed by a selfie than a shark. Yet vain Instagramers desperate to capture the moment have failed to take selfie safety precautions, as there have now been the same number of reported selfie-related deaths for the first half of 2016 as...

CNN loses feed as reporter critiques Hillary Clinton

by Kyle Olson What happened on Tuesday isn’t going to do anything to help CNN shed the “Clinton News Network” moniker. As reporter Brianna Keilar was appearing live from Hillary’s speech in Springfield, Illinois — and critiquing her record — the feed was mysteriously lost.   “Largely Hillary Clinton’s comments here today, John, were based around the recent violence that we have seen,” Keilar reported. “The police-involved shootings of black men in Minnesota, in Louisiana, and the killing of white police officers by a black gunman in Dallas. That was really what she based her comments on around today....

Small Island, Population 137, To Get 2,000-Migrant Asylum Centre

by Oliver JJ Lane A small, sparsely populated island near migrant-crisis city Malmo in southern Sweden is to play host to a significant migrant centre that could net the owners millions of Swedish Kronor. The Kristianstad municipality in the Swedish county of Skåne is opposing the move, which would see a significant 2,000-man facility of “modular housing” established on the small island of Ivö to house newly arrived migrants. It is reported the plan to create the migrant accommodation is being launched by the Svenska Semesterhem company and could be contracted through the Swedish Migration Board, which distributes hundreds of millions...

Casting Call for Extras, Actors During Cleveland RNC Violence

By Jon Rappoport “Here’s your chance to take to the streets and protest for a cause you believe in. Many thousands will be at your side. When the violence hits, you can run, go crazy, and hopefully escape police batons, water cannons, and flying bullets…” This isn’t one company looking for actors and extras to protest against Trump in the streets of Cleveland, during the Republican National Convention next week. This is much bigger. This is a year-long recruitment drive for extras. You can’t have violence from just a few lone individuals on a quiet street in a city....

EU Experiment Failure – Trudeau Clueless Leader

The European project is a total failure Thank you. Merci. Mersi. Grazie. Gracias. Grazzi. Go raibh maith agat. Dziekuje. Danke. Aitäh. Köszönöm. Multumesc. Dêkuji. Paldies. Ačiū. Dakujem. Obrigado. Hvala. Dank u. Kiitti. Blagodaria. Merci villmahl. Efharisto. And my personal favourite, tak. There are 23 ways of saying thank you in the European Union, and I think that in itself illustrates why the European experiment has ended in failure. Do you remember those experiments that you used to do as a kid with a chemistry set? You would keep adding chemicals, one after the other, to see what would finally...

No regrets: Almost all Crimean residents support reunification with Russia

Ninety-five percent of the people living in Crimea would vote in favor of the republic’s accession into the Russian Federation if a referendum on the subject was held again today.
